My Journey

As an Artist

Influenced by my grandmother’s creative handwork and greatly inspired by my school art teacher, I began my journey at a young age in Mumbai. Throughout my childhood, art proved to be a constant source of self-expression, which drew me closer and closer to it. After a distinguished career as a Lawyer for over 25 years, I pursued my lifelong passion - Art.

I underwent training from many professional artists including Mr. Krishnakumar, Principal of the Institute of Mural Painting Kerala, Water Colour from Mr. Mopasang Valath, Oil Painting and Original Stain Glass Painting from Mr. Elango from CM studio.

The history, significance, and richness of Indian art forms greatly intrigued me. My quest to learn more about them led me to delve deeper into the vibrant and unique art of Kerala Mural Paintings.

My artistic repertoire includes oil and acrylic, pencil and charcoal sketches, mixed media, and occasionally watercolors. I have created over 300 works of art across various styles and genres with a special focus on traditional Indian art forms.

As a Teacher

I believe art helps to find oneself and explore previously unknown facets of one's personality. It is this very notion that led me into the world of teaching.

The ability to share my knowledge and watch my students develop their own unique artistry in an unparalleled feeling.

Over the years, I have trained hundreds of students at Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced levels, through both online and in-person classes. The special bond that I share with each of my students allows for conversations and connections that go beyond art itself.

I keenly look forward to contributing to the growth of traditional Indian arts like Kerala Mural Paintings in whatever small way I can.
