Confluence 2025 will be held from December 19th - December 21st.

Confluence 2025 will be held at LAKSHANA ART Gallery, Chennai. Address: New No: 5, Old No: 13, Abhiramapuram 1st Street, Abiramapuram, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600018

There is no theme for Confluence 2025. The applicants may submit any artwork that satisfies the submission criteria.

• Fill the entire application including attachments of images, details of the size of the paintings, their description etc.

Any and all styles such as Kerala Murals, Madhubani, Watercolor, Oil painting, etc. are permitted.

Application requirements include the following:

1. The paintings must be original works of art

2. The paintings must be available for sale

3. The Photos for the application form must be clicked from an angle that captures the entire image, with good lighting and clarity (Photos of the artwork will be permitted ONLY for the application form)

4. No limit on the paintings you want to showcase. The paintings must be created by you (Please ensure you own the copyright to each of the paintings you submit)

5. For each submission, remember to upload both the front and the back of the painting with labels as follows:

6. Front side - “ArtStyle_YourInitials_SubmissionNumber” - ex: “Madhubani_SP_1”

7. Back side - "Back_YourInitials_SubmissionNumber" - ex: Back_SP_1"

8. Size of the paintings in inches excluding the frame (16"X20", 18"X24", 24"X36", 40"X30"). Paintings that don't match these sizes will not be permitted.

Yes, the paintings submitted in the application form will be considered as the final exhibit at Confluence 2025. Please note that the painting you submit MUST be available for sale.

No. ONLY the paintings submitted along with the application form will be considered. Substitutions / Additions will not be accepted. Therefore, we advise you to submit at least 2-4paintings to give the judges a better understanding of your artistic abilities.

No. At the time of submission of the applications, photos clicked using a good quality mobile camera would suffice. Only selected and shortlisted applicants will be required to bring their original artworks to be displayed at the exhibition.

Please note that photos clicked for the application must have:

- Good lighting

- NO filters

- Cropped to eliminate the background

The following dimensions (mentioned in inches) are eligible for submission:

• 16" x 20"

• 18" x 24"

• 24” x 36"

• 40" x 30"

Please note paintings that don't match these sizes will not be permitted.

Selection will take place based on the quality of the artwork. It is possible that for any given applicant none or all of their submissions will be selected.

No. Every selected applicant will be informed of the paintings of theirs that have been approved by the panel of judges. The applicant can then decide if he/she wants to showcase some or all of the selected paintings in the exhibition and accordingly complete the payment of the registration fee (INR 3000/- per painting to be displayed at the exhibition).

Yes, all paintings selected and displayed at the exhibition can be made available for sale.

In the event of a sale, the applicant will be required to pay a 10% commission of the selling price of their painting to the organizers. The rest of the proceeds will go directly to the artist.

​YES, A general application fee of INR 99/- per application is required to be paid at the time of submission of applications.

Selected applicants will be required to pay a registration fee of INR 3000/- per artwork to display their paintings at the exhibit.

The registration fee goes towards:

• Organization of the exhibit (Showcasing, Design, etc.)

• Promotion and Marketing for the event

• If sold, technical and logistic support

• Media coverage of the exhibit

• Selected applicants will be responsible for delivering their chosen painting(s), securely packaged, to the venue in Chennai. Please note that the organisers cannot assume responsibility for any damage incurred during transit or handling, and no compensation will be provided in such cases

• Selling price you wish to quote for your painting

After shortlisted applicants are intimated about their selection they will be given time to provide the price they wish to quote for their painting. The Confluence team will assist artists on how to arrive at a quote (if they require it) but the final decision of the selling price is completely as per the artist's discretion.

The applications for Confluence 2025 will close on September 10th, 2025.

The shortlisted applicants for Confluence 2025 will be finalized and informed on November 4, 2025.

Absolutely! This exhibition is free and open to all. We encourage you to share it with your family and friends and help us support these talented, emerging artists.

You can buy the painting at the venue, within the duration of the exhibition.

No, the sale price displayed is exclusive of delivery charges. Any transportation and delivery charges incurred must be borne by the buyer. Confluence Team will assist in the delivery process.
